Class of 2030, Welcome to Timothy Dwight College, Home of the Red Lions!
Timothy Dwight College is the residential college closest to downtown New Haven and the Red Lions’ safe haven through the ups and downs of life at Yale. Our distinctive brick buildings surround the most gorgeous courtyard on campus, where you’ll find your fellow Red Lions hammock-hanging beneath our iconic gingko, playing volleyball in the sun, or throwing snowballs when winter rolls around. Rosenfeld Hall, at the corner at Temple and Grove, is also part of TD.
You’ll hear a lot about TD over the next few months, but here’s what we want you to know right now: The people who live here love TD. We’re small enough that we truly get to know and care about each other. We cheer each other on, and we look out for each other’s well-being. Living in TD first year also means that you’ll connect with upper class Red Lions starting on Day One. This whole community cannot wait to welcome you in.
