Ahsan Ahmad

Hello! My name is Ahsan Ahmad (he/him), and I am a second-year Master of Public Health candidate at the Yale School of Public Health. My work lies at the intersection of immunology and infectious disease epidemiology, with an emphasis on translating scientific and mechanistic insights into patient-centered clinical care, equitable public health practice, and evidence-informed policy. Additional information about my background and current projects can be found here: https://medicine.yale.edu/profile/ahsan-ahmad/.

Beyond my research, I serve as a Teaching Fellow at Yale College, where I mentor students and contribute to interdisciplinary scholarship. I remain deeply committed to community- and justice-oriented initiatives that advance human rights and health equity. Outside of academic life, I enjoy engaging with diverse cultures through food and travel — having visited more than 46 countries and counting — experiences that continually inform my perspectives on politics, philosophy, medicine and the world. I look forward to connecting with you all. Àshe!

Many thanks,

Ahsan
