Janina Gbenoba (she/her) is from Rancho Cucamonga, CA and is double-majoring in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry and History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health. Outside of class, she performs research at the Yale School of Medicine, volunteers at Yale New Haven Hospital, serves as Events Coordinator at the Yale Women’s Center, and has served as Co-President of Kasama: The Filipinx Club at Yale. She loves songwriting and hanging out with friends at New Haven cafes in her free time. Janina is so excited to meet the TD first-years, and is always happy to chat about coursework, the pre-med track, and, of course, life in TD and at Yale in general. She cannot wait to get to know you all!
