Hello! My name is Nancy (she/her), and I am a second-year PhD student in American Studies. I grew up in Maine and majored in American Studies and Hispanic Literatures and Cultures at Wesleyan. My research interests build off of my undergraduate work and center on US impacts and influence on Asian migration throughout the Americas in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Prior to Yale, I worked for a couple of years in the Senate on immigration, technology and telecom policy.
